The sun, the beach, relaxation, the Mediterranean gastronomy and the nightlife are some of the things which Benidorm is known for. The Costa Blanca, in general, is one of the favourite national destinations for tourists seeking to disconnect on their holidays.
But this Alicante town offers other alternatives for visitors, such as outdoor activities. So, if you are passionate about cycling and plan to come and stay in Grand Luxor Hotel, this article will offer you some tips in order to get the most out of your stay.

By staying in our hotel for cyclists, the possibility of cycling the trails that we describe below is going to be within your reach. Our Family hotel in Benidorm will provide you with all the comforts you require.
– From Benidorm to Villajoyosa along the Sendero de la Costa. Whether you are a beginner at an amateur level, or if you are travelling with minors, this is an ideal trail. It is a 26.16-kilometre trail that you can complete in a couple of hours which doesn’t pose any difficulty. It runs along the old national road, and the most attractive thing is to take in the beautiful colourful houses when going down to the beach of Villajoyosa.
– Benidorm-Finestrat-Sella-Relleu-Villajoyosa-Benidorm. This other trail that we propose poses a little more difficulty, mainly because it is longer. In a 60.83-kilometre trail that runs along roads with little traffic and a couple of paths which aren’t really demanding, the most complicated part is the climb up to el Collado, close to Sella.
– From Benidorm to Finestrat. The trail that we propose is considered highly difficult as it includes about 10 kilometres of ascent. It is a highly physical and technically demanding trail that covers a distance of 28.66 kilometres, and that can be completed in just under four hours. The most attractive thing about it are the views that you can take in from Puig Campana.
– Benidorm-Sendas passing through Finestrat-Orxeta-Embalse de Amadorio-Benidorm. This moderately difficult trail is 52.17 kilometres long. It is possible to complete it in about 3 and a half hours and it only has a cumulative elevation difference of 884.06 metres and another descent of 886.18, so it can be said that it is almost entirely cyclable.
These are four of the most attractive routes we have found so you can take advantage of your stay at Grand Luxor Hotel while enjoying what you like most. If you want to know more trails, all you need to do is ask our staff, who will give you all the advice you need.
